Ingredients for Reese soup with lemongrass

Fresh cilantro leaves for garnish, if desired
0.5tspSambal oelek
2pcsLemon grass
2tspFish sauce
2tbspOil
250gShrimp peeled and cut in half, the shells should also be used
4tbspLime juice
6dlChicken broth
6Paper thin slices of lime for garnish

Instructions for Reese soup with lemongrass

To prepare the Reese soup with lemongrass recipe, please follow these instructions:

Heat a wok over high heat until it smokes. Add oil and stir the shells, stirring until they change color to pink - approx. 1 min. Add chicken stock, lemongrass and bring soup into boil. Put on the lid, turn down the heat and cook for 5 minutes. Turn off the flare and allow the soup to stand for 15 minutes. Put the soup and throw the shells and lemon trees away. Return the soup into the wok and bring it to the boil. Add lime juice, sambal oelek, fish sauce and shrimps. Boil approx. 1 minute.

Serve with a slice of lime and a little coriander leaves in each serving.
