1 | dl | Red wine |
1 | tbsp | Red wine vinegar |
100 | g | Mushroom |
2 | stems | Fresh thyme |
25 | g | Margarine |
3 | dl | Broth or cream |
Instructions for Red wine Sauce
To prepare the Red wine Sauce recipe, please follow these instructions:
Chop loose well, and chop it in the margarine with the chopped thyme. Add the sliced mushrooms and simmer a little.
Now add the red wine vinegar and cook this in. Then add the red wine and boil it to half.
You can now choose to base the sauce on cream or on a basic sauce. Cream always gives a good result but it becomes a very fat sauce. Grundsovs, in the form of broth or fond, can provide a really delicious sauce. Here, however, it is important that there is a good taste in the soup. Add the soup to the pan and season with salt and pepper. There may be smoothed with a melody if necessary.
But remember:
Red wine sauce must not be too thick! PS. Power from a roasted culotte, or roast beef can provide an excellent broth.
