150 | g | Bacon, diced |
200 | g | Leek |
50 | g | Butter |
800 | g | Potatoes |
Instructions for Potato soup with bacon
To prepare the Potato soup with bacon recipe, please follow these instructions:
The potatoes are peeled and cut into smaller pieces, the pores are cleaned and cut well.
Stir potato pieces and chop in butter for approx. 6 - 8 minutes.
Add broth and bay leaves and cook the potatoes for approx. 25 minutes.
The soup is blended and sieved, poured into a pan and boiled. Add cream. Season with garlic, salt and pepper.
Bacon in tern or sliced in the oven at 210 degrees until it is crisp. Then put on greasy paper until it is cooled.
Serve the soup in hot soup bowl and sprinkle onion and bacon on top.
Server with breadcroutons or bread.
