3.5dlWhole milk
5dlOil

To prepare the Poppy seed cake baked as pumpkin recipe, please follow these instructions:

Heat oven up to 180 degrees c. alm. oven.

Mix flour, sugar, salt and baking soda. Beat the eggs thoroughly together. Slowly add the milk, oil and vanilla sugar. Fold it into the flour and sugar. The texture must be pretty thick.

Add the poppy seeds and pour batter into two well lubricated rim molds. Behind the pasties in the oven for 50 minutes. Lower the temperature to 160 degrees c. alm. oven and bake the cakes yet ca. 20 minutes. Do not close the oven door up until after 65 minutes.

Let the cakes cool and pull them gently out of the molds. Put them on top of each other. Garnish, if desired. cake with pumpkin colored glaze.
