Instructions for Old-fashioned beef roast
To prepare the Old-fashioned beef roast recipe, please follow these instructions:
Peel root vegetables and cut them into coarse pieces.
Brown beef shoulder thoroughly on all sides, tag it up. Sauté the vegetables. Llæg roast back, sprinkle heavily with salt and pepper. Pour approximately 1 ½ cm of water at. Put the lid on and simmer approximately 2-3 hours.
When the roast is tender taken it up and rest while you make the gravy.
Juices are strained, the vegetables are discarded. Juices boil up and season with salt, pepper, cream and possibly. a bouillon cube. Smoothed over with meljævning and added to the suit.
Serve with boiled white potatoes Cooked green beans or baked beans in bacon wrappings.
Sour gherkins/tomato salad. Small glazed Pearl onions.
