4Egg yolks
50gWalnuts

To prepare the Ice cream with maple syrup and walnuts recipe, please follow these instructions:

Whip the egg yolks together. Heat the maple syrup to the boiling point and pour it into a thin beam and constantly whipping the egg yolks. Whip for approx. 5 min. Until the egg mass has become cold and has consistency like a thick, airy cream. Whip the cream and chop the walnuts. Stir it in the cream. Pour the cream into a mold, cover with tightly closed lid or alu foil and freeze the cream for 3-4 hours. When serving, icing ice with melted dark chocolate or just maple syrup and 1 dl slipped almonds shaken on the pan in 1 tablespoon of butter.
