To prepare the Hazelnut pancakes with port wine sauce recipe, please follow these instructions:
Eggs and flour are whipped together and the melted butter is whipped in it. Yoghurt, hazelnut flakes and sugar are added. Finally, so much milk or cream is whipped that the pancake dough has the right liquid consistency.
The pancakes are usually baked on a pan in butter.
Pour the port wine to 1/3 and add syrup. The sauce may optionally be leveled with a little maizena soaked in cold water. The sauce is served hot to the hot pancakes.
