1 | l | Lukewarm water |
1 | tbsp | Salt |
2 | dl | Good olive oil |
2 | kg | Wheat flour |
4 | Eggs | |
50 | g | Yeast |
Instructions for Greek wheat bread
To prepare the Greek wheat bread recipe, please follow these instructions:
Stir yeast into the lukewarm water. Add oil, egg, salt, and most of the flour. Go over to hand kneading, do not eat more than necessary, but my experience is that the bread takes about 200-200. At least the dough should be smooth and should be able to let go of the bowl, but at the same time smooth and "alive". Leave suit and under clothes 1 hour. Beat the dough and form 6 round bread and place them in a frying pan that is lubricated with oil, brush on the sides of the loaves, so they are easier to separate from each other after baking. Leave again under cloth for 45 min. Brush the loaves on top with whipped egg and scratch them with a sharp knife.
Bake at 225 degrees at the bottom of the oven 35-40 min
