0.5 | tsp | Bicarbonate of soda |
0.5 | cup | Syrup |
2 | tsp | Carnations |
225 | g | Margarine |
225 | g | Sugar |
4 | tsp | Cinnamon |
500 | g | Wheat flour |
Instructions for Great-Grandmother's Brown Cakes
To prepare the Great-Grandmother's Brown Cakes recipe, please follow these instructions:
Cinnamon, cloves, sugar and soda, ca. 2/3 flour in a bowl.
Margarine is melted and the syrup is added. Let it melt together and pour up into the Bowl while stirring. The rest of the flour in as needed.
If the dough is to be used for the udstiksforme, I can not recommend that the entire amount of flour used, as it will crumble.
The dough has best by getting in a refrigerator or freezer overnight.
Bake at approx. 175grader in ca. 10 min. or until they are dark around the edges.
Tips:
When I made the dough, forms I the in two large "sausages" and rolls them into the baking paper. Then I put them in the freezer. So is the right to cut the day after.
