Instructions for Gratin dauphinoise
To prepare the Gratin dauphinoise recipe, please follow these instructions:
Pour milk, cream and garlic into a pan.
Heat up to the boiling point.
When it starts to bubble small on the sides, take the saucepan off the heat and cool off a little.
Peel the potatoes and cut them into very thin slices, for example. On a mandolin iron.
Grease a flame dish with a little oil.
Say the dairy mixture to remove the whipped cream.
Now cheese and potatoes must be put on layers in the refractory dish.
Start and finish with grated cheese.
With this portion I like 4 layers of cheese and 3 layers of potatoes.
Sprinkle well with salt and pepper on top of each layer of potatoes.
Then pour the milk mixture over the potatoes.
Squeeze the potatoes lightly to make them soak liquid.
Place in the oven for 35-40 minutes on 200 degrees hot air.
