The French bread slices are laid in a refractory, greased dish. Boil water and sugar together and pour over. The apples are rinsed and peeled. The core housing is drilled out.
The apples are baked by 185 gr approx. 1/2 hour until they are tender and the bread slices are light brown and caramel-like.
