0.5 | tsp | Cinnamon |
0.5 | tsp | Nutmeg |
0.5 | tsp | Salt |
2 | Eggs | |
2.5 | dl | Milk |
200 | g | Sugar |
3 | tbsp | Melted butter |
500 | g | Wheat flour |
Instructions for Dougnuts
To prepare the Dougnuts recipe, please follow these instructions:
Sieve and mix the sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and flour. Beat the eggs well and mix them with the dry ingredients. Add the milk and melted butter. Roll out on a floured kitchen table for ca. 1 cm thickness.
Few Danes have a donut-cuts, so you can cut the larger ring out with a large glass, and the Middle out with a small glass. A doughnut is not a doughnut without a hole in the middle.
Deep-fry a few at a time, until they are nicely browned. Let them drain on a paper towel, and turn them into icing sugar.
