Instructions for Dognuts
To prepare the Dognuts recipe, please follow these instructions:
Sift and mix sugar, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and flour. Whip the eggs well and mix them with the dry ingredients. Add milk and melted butter. Roll out on a flour kitchen table for approx. 1 cm thickness.
Few Danes have a Donut Cutter, so you can cut the larger circle with a large glass and center out with a small glass. A donut is not a donut without a hole in the middle.
Friture-rose a few pieces at a time until they are pretty brown. Let them drip on a piece of kitchen roll and then turn them into a flourish.
