Instructions for Daimkage II
To prepare the Daimkage II recipe, please follow these instructions:
Stiffly Beat egg whites and sugar. Bake in a wax paper dressed round shape by 150 gr – approx. 1 ½ hour. Allow to cool on rack.
Cream: beat the egg yolks and sugar snaps of. Whip piskefløden stiff. Mix it all together. Grovhakk daimen and mix it in the cream.
The cream spread nicely over marengsen. Garnish with a little grovhakket daim and style the cake in the freezer.
Tips:
This cake is a real børnehit! Take the cake up 5 min before it is to be served. Enjoy!
