Instructions for Coq au wine, chicken in wine
To prepare the Coq au wine, chicken in wine recipe, please follow these instructions:
The chicken is divided into smaller pieces. The bacon is cut free of heavy and cut into narrow strips that fry with the small pinned onion (buy the frozen if you are going to make it easy). When this is golden, put the chicken pieces with garlic cloves and the whole is good for a few minutes.
Then add the small whole sliced mushrooms, bay leaves and thyme and spin for 10 minutes. Then pour cognac and red wine over, with salt and pepper and under the lid, spin on for 20 minutes. Until the chicken is tender.
Chicken, onion and mushroom are lifted onto a serving dish.
The sauce is peeled and flavored, adding cream fry and possibly extra garlic if you are into it, stained with color. The sauce is poured over chicken and vegetables.
Serve with boiled rice and green salad.
