Ingredients for Christmas Rye Bread
Melted margarine | ||

1.5 | tsp | Salt |
2 | dl | Buttermilk |
2 | tbsp | Oil |
2 | tbsp | Syrup |
450 | g | Wheat flour |
5 | dl | Lukewarm water |
50 | g | Yeast |
700 | g | Wholemeal rye flour |
Instructions for Christmas Rye Bread
To prepare the Christmas Rye Bread recipe, please follow these instructions:
Water and buttermilk are placed in a bowl and the yeast is piped out. The other ingredients are added and the dough is well kneaded. Covered with a towel and placed in a tilted place for a while. 1 1/2 hour.
The dough is knocked down and shredded into 2 loaves, which come in 2 molds (about 1 1/2 l.). Repeats approx. 1/2 hour.
Brush with a mixture of melted margarine and water. Dotted with a fork.
baking time:
On the bottom oven rib for approx. 30 min. At 225 degrees and approx. 30 min. At 175 degrees.
After baking, the bread is cooled on a baking tray covered with a damp cloth.
