Ingredients for Carrot sauce

Juice and must by 1/2 lemon
1Bay leaf
1/2tbspFresh chopped Mint or 1/2 tsp dried
100gOnion
15gButter or margarine
250Carrots
4dlChicken broth

Instructions for Carrot sauce

To prepare the Carrot sauce recipe, please follow these instructions:

Peel the carrots. Cut them into slices. Arrow and heel loosened. Wash the lemon. Cut the shell into thin slices, without too much of the white, and squeeze the lemon. Boil carrots, onions, bay leaves, lemon peel and broth in a saucepan. Boil the vegetables very tenderly, approx. 1/2 hour, under cover. Remove the bay leaves and lemon shells. Add lemon juice and blend the sauce. Pour the sauce back into the pan and heat it through. Add butter or margarine as well as mint and season with salt and pepper.
