1pinchGrated nutmeg
1tspSalt
120gSoftened butter
120gGrated carrots
150gSugar
180gWheat flour
2Eggs
2tspBaking soda
350gIcing sugar
60gChopped hazelnuts

Instructions for Carrot cake with orange

To prepare the Carrot cake with orange recipe, please follow these instructions:

1. Mix the cracked carrots with orange juice and orange peel.

2. Whip sugar and butter to an airy mass and whip the eggs in one at a time.

3. Stir the carrot mixture into the butter mixture.

4. Place the flour in a bowl of baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt and mix the nuts.

5. Stir the flour in the wet mixture.

6. Grease a frying pan of approx. 560 cm2. Fill the dough in the frying pan.

7. Bake the cake at 180 degrees alm. Oven for 35-40 minutes. Check with a knitting needle if the cake is finished.

8. Allow the cake to cool completely and add icing.
