Instructions for Carom-compote

To prepare the Carom-compote recipe, please follow these instructions:

The fruits are cut into small cubes (approx.1x1cm.), The kernels are removed. The vanilla bars are cracked and the grains are scrapped out. Mix both the barley and the bar with water, sugar and lemon, slowly bring to a boil. The fruit is added and simmered without lid for 10-15 minutes. To it's tenderness and the vapor is evaporated.
