175 | g | Maizenamel |
300 | g | Wheat flour |
Instructions for Broa (Portuguese bread)
To prepare the Broa (Portuguese bread) recipe, please follow these instructions:
Mix 2.5 dl. Of corn flour, salt and 2 dl. Boil water and stir it to a smooth consistency. Stir 1 tbsp. Oil in and let it cool until it is bare.
The yeast is expelled with 0.5 dl. lukewarm water. Bring it and sugar into the corn mixture in addition to the rest of the corn flour and 2.5 dl. flour. Gather the dough into a ball, place it in a bowl and cover with a dish. Put the dough in a cozy place for approx. 30 minutes.
Brush bottom and sides in a spring form with oil. Pour the dough onto a floured table and knead so much of the remaining wheat flour that the dough gets stuck but not too stiff. Form it into a ball and push it into the mold. Put a dish over again and allow it to adhere for approx. 30 minutes.
Heat the oven up to 225 degrees C and behind the bread for approx. 40 minutes until golden and pierced. Place it on a bakery to cool.
