4 | Pan clear forest pigeons | |
4 | tbsp | Dry light vermouth |
450 | g | Peas |
6 | slices | Bacon, diced |
Instructions for Braised forest pigeons
To prepare the Braised forest pigeons recipe, please follow these instructions:
The forest pads are seasoned and inside with salt and pepper.
Heat the oil and season the onions with low heat. Put the pigeons in and brown them on all sides.
Add bacon, vermouth and broth. Bring the dish to boil and let it smear at low heat for 1½ hours. Add more broth if necessary.
Add peas and sugar and cook for 10 minutes.
Taste and serve the pigeons in the pot.
