200 | g | Sugar |
3 | tbsp | Syrup, light |
300 | g | Wheat flour |
75 | g | Almonds, peeled |
8 | g | Potash |
Instructions for Bond Cakes
To prepare the Bond Cakes recipe, please follow these instructions:
Blend butter, syrup or maple syrup and sugar together in a food processor. Add the almonds that are not to be sliced and chop them. Pour the dough into another bowl and seal the flour. Pour the potash into a little water and pour it into the dough. Roll the dough into a 4 cm thick sausage (if the dough has become too soft, place it in the refrigerator for one quarter of time and roll to a sausage once it has become cold). Let the sausage rest in the fridge for the next day. Set the oven to 180 degrees. Cut the sausage into slices of approx. 3 mm. Place the cakes on a plate at large intervals as they flow out a bit.
