Instructions for Blomkålsmos
To prepare the Blomkålsmos recipe, please follow these instructions:
Clean the cauliflower for leaves and cut the stem so that it is clean and tidy. Cut the stalk into slices and put the rest of the cauliflower into a saucepan. Boil 20 minutes.
Alternatively, cook 5-6 sticks of broccoli with the pot.
Pour the water from cauliflower, leave the cooker on low heat.
Find a lid for a pot of slightly smaller diameter than the one you cooked the cauliflower in.
Squeeze as much water as possible by holding the pot horizontally and squeezing against the edge of the sink. (Use force)
Put 10-15 leaves of fresh basil, ½ teaspoon of grated nutmeg, ½ teaspoon of cardamom, salt, pepper in the pan with the drained mashed potatoes.
Blend the moss with a rod blender over low heat.
Bring a butter of butter (Margerine is not suitable for human consumption)
Bowl 2-4 tablespoons of cream.
Warm through stirring.
Voila.

Here you have a tasty low carbohydrate substitute for mashed potatoes where the taste can be varied infinitely. This version is a bit sweet and is good as a bottom for coke or lavagryde (google) If you want to make a burning love you should experiment with some stronger spice in the bog. I have tried this version and it does not fit so well with the powerful bacon and onion.
