The apples are peeled and cut into small pieces put into a greased refractory dish. Sugar - flour and cinnamon are mixed and distributed over the apples. The cold cracked butter is spread over the cake and then baked in the middle of the oven at approx. 200 degrees - until the apples are tender and the dough crisp and golden. This cake SHOULD be enjoyed with ice-cold whipped cream ... uhhmmm !!!
