Instructions for American pizza
To prepare the American pizza recipe, please follow these instructions:
Fill: Start with the filling. Peel the onion, chopped and sautéed in a pan in the oil. The meat is crumbled in it and after a short time, add thyme, tomatoes with water, salt and pepper. This sauce boils thoroughly for 2-3 hours.
When the meat sauce has boiled for about 2 hours, start on the dough while the sauce boils on until it is to be used.
Dough: Dissolve yeast in the lukewarm water. Add milk, salt, sugar and oil. Bring the flour in after a while. The dough must be so smooth and firm that it can be kneaded on the table without hanging in. The dough is kneaded very thoroughly and raised for 45 minutes.
The dough is then reel well through, rolled out and put into a pan with baking paper. It should be about ½ cm thick. Fold up to one edge.
The meat tenderloin comes on and pineapples in small pieces are spread over. The pizza is placed in a preheated oven at 230 degrees and baked for about 15 minutes until the meat sauce has "sat down".
Then the cheese is sprinkled and the pizza is gratinated for 10 minutes until the dough is light brown and crisp.
